Material Handling Engineer

At EBRO Factory, we are building an ambitious industrial project and expanding our Logistics Engineering team. We are looking for a Material Handling Engineer to design, optimize, and manage internal material flows across our production and warehouse areas, ensuring efficiency, safety, and scalability.

🔹 Your Mission

Design and optimize internal material flow systems to guarantee efficient supply to production lines, warehouse operations, and outbound logistics, supporting plant growth and operational excellence.

🔹 What Will You Do?

• Design and optimize material flow processes (line feeding, supermarket, milk-run, AGVs, conveyors, etc.).

• Define layouts and internal logistics concepts aligned with production requirements.

• Calculate capacity, flow rates, storage needs, and resource allocation.

• Coordinate installation and commissioning of material handling systems.

• Work closely with Production, Logistics, Planning, and Quality teams.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, ergonomics, and cost reduction.

• Monitor KPIs related to material flow, line supply performance, and warehouse efficiency.

🔹 What Do You Need?

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or similar.

• 3+ years of experience in material handling, intralogistics, or plant logistics engineering.

• Strong knowledge of internal logistics concepts (JIT, JIS, line feeding, supermarkets, tugger trains).

• Experience with layout tools (AutoCAD) and simulation tools (Plant Simulation is a plus).

• Analytical mindset and strong cross-functional coordination skills.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
